They died after saving 8 patients - AMRI hospital Fire Accident

The Hindu : States / Kerala : They died after saving 8 patients

Two Nurse from kottayam, had died after saving 8 female patients from their ward, in AMRI Hospital, Kolkata. We all must stand up and salute this brave hearts P.K. Vineetha and Remya Rajan. The parents of this two nurses must be proud to be their parents.

From the article published in The Hindu According to the hospital authorities, both worked in the female general ward. “There were nine patients in the ward and they could save eight of them. Both the girls had gone up to save the ninth patient, who had suffered a fracture, but succumbed to smoke and heat. Only one patient died in the ward,” said Deputy Nursing Superintendent Sumini over telephone.

When we talk about the two nurses brave act. There is also coward act took place in the hospital a quote from NDTV portal.
Families of the victims and the government accuse the privately-owned and posh hospital of ignoring basic fire safety laws; they also say that after the fire began, doctors and staff members abandoned patients, many of who were immobile

Government otherside is also responsible for this incident, hospital was in a narrow and congested street. Hospital was centralised Air condition, fully wrapped with glasses, so the smoke has no way to go out of the building. Is there any norms for hospital functioning.

Who run the government both ruling and opposition party must awake after this inicident, In india this is not the one incident. In tamilnadu 2004 a same incident took place in a school
Eighty-three children aged between eight and ten years were on Friday charred to death, 20 of them beyond recognition, while over 27 others received serious burns when a major fire raged through their school in this town of Tamil Nadu's Thanjavur district.
In other incident in a marriage hall, trichy Forty-nine persons were killed and about 50 injured in a devastating fire during a wedding at a marriage hall at Srirangam in Tiruchi district of Tamil Nadu. Among the dead were the bridegroom, 20 women and four children.

I request people who run organisation and government, Please awake, Please give value to human life, Please frame norms to places where people gather like shopping mall, marriage hall, hospital, schools etc. and adhere to the same, why should we lose life of two young nurse who value the service above their life, if they were alive how many of them would benefited by them. As india grows we need people with service minded. And the business people must start value human lives, please don't value your business return over safety norms. please adhere to all safety norms.

I pray god to give peace to the soul who had given there life for saving others.
